Get to Know: Nash

Nash is a very outgoing 12-year-old boy who happens to have Down syndrome. He loves hanging with his friends, going to movies, watching WWE wrestling, bowling, and technology (he enjoys FaceTime calls on his Ipad and talking to his buddies on his iPhone). He plays basketball on two teams (his Special Olympics team with Unified Players from Noblesville Middle School has played together for three years and won two State Championships!) and is a huge fan of Notre Dame football and IU basketball. Nash loves math and will start seventh grade in the fall. Someday, he’d like to be an actor like his hero, Chris Burke,  of Life Goes On.

“The value of a life, a human, a child, is measured not by how much he or she can accomplish, but how much he or she can teach others about what really matters.”

–Jan, Nash’s mom
